My car had the Hurst arm, looks like it was there a long time and car was off the road since late 70's. My guess is you were correct in the original plan but all the cars did not get done correctly. Any original Dual-Gate Chevelles out there to chime in ? Does you car have functional B/U lamps and a neutral safety switch ?
