I just got some very good news from a man in the know at Penske, In 2009 you will see Camaro's, Mustangs and Challengers at Daytona once again the Nascar Busch series will be all pony cars in 2009, that will be GREAT, i cant wait..Bruce

Im a Car Chief for Rusty Wallace, I make sure the car is 100% race ready and oversee any repairs on the car,

The NASCAR rules back then only allowed you to run a body style that was less then 3 years old
in the Grand National Division. The 21 car is sandwiched in between a '64 Comet and a '61 Ford.
Maybe the Modified/Sportsmen were coming in and the Grand Nationals were coming out?
Here's a couple other shots - if you look closely you can see the Winged Warriors!

That Chevelle must have had a hard time keeping up with those flat nosed Fords

Those would be pictures of Don Yenko after winning the 1969 Citrus 250 at Daytona. Driving a '69 Camaro, he started on the pole, lead 4 laps and won $4500.00.

Tony Liberati Named Crew Chief for the No. 66, Rick Carpenter Tapped as General Manager


MOORESVILLE, NC (August 8, 2007)—Officials of RWI Racing, LLC announced today the naming of two individuals to key leadership posts in the team’s competition structure. Beginning with next weekend’s round of the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series championship at Michigan International Speedway, veteran NASCAR crew chief, Tony Liberati, will serve in that role for the team’s No. 66 Dodge, driven by 19 year-old Steve Wallace, a two-time pole winner thus far in 2007 Busch Series competition.
