Re: 69 Yenko Camaro
Steve sold it to Clint Richmond & Dave Belk. I was going to buy the car with Brian's help, but, i did not want to wire that kind of money on a friday afternoon @ 5:00 pm with no Bill of Sale, Deal stunk and as you can tell strange situation. I became very nervous with the guys situation and the fact that Brian had to drive up there twice before he saw the car. The 1st time it was locked in storage because of a late bill. Brian went and saw the car that Sunday and we decided to pass. After further inspection i sold a car and bought it. I feel very lucky. There was a lot of effort and time wasted dealing with the seller. I figured i would only buy it from someone else or drive up there with a trailer like Clint did with the money. Thanks to Brian, Clint, and Dave Belk. I bought it from Dave and Clint 4 weeks later for a lot less money. Chuck Huber is restoring iT!i don't see how anyone's feelings would be hurt, they bought the car with no idea i was going to buy it. I worked a trade with the Hugger Orange Monte Carlo i bought off this sight.

Re: 69 Yenko Camaro
Did you promise Potter anything for his "wasted time and effort" he made for you? Looks like your buddies made out OK on your deal, so I cannot imagine you not taking care of the first man in for you. If you did, cool, if not I guess thats Potters "golden surprise"...BKH

Re: 69 Yenko Camaro
Brian, I am a fair person. We decided friday not to pursue the car. Brian went on his own to see the car sunday. He told me he just had to see it no matter what, i had already decided not to deal with the strange situation. All Brian needs to do is call me if he feels i owe him something. I will not leave anyone out. Brian did a lot of the work on his own knowing i wasn't going to buy it from the very strange course of events.I backed out Friday. Brian has my number and i'll gladly await his call, i'm fair.I never knew Clint Richmond was up there with a trailer, i certainly didn't go around Brian. He told me he wouldn't buy the car, after seeing it, it is a great car to restore. As i said before, i bought it 4 weeks later from Belk with a trade.i must re-iterate Brian told me not to buy the car, why, i don't know. It's a very solid car to restore. Seller was very strange.

Re: 69 Yenko Camaro
Your own words say " we decided to pass" after he inspected the car on a second attempt Sunday. "We" would indicate he was there for you. My mistake, I didn't realise Potter was on his own...BKH

Re: 69 Yenko Camaro
Geez…I think I have seen this movie before. Yep, the same cast of characters, the same plot and dialog, and the same ending.
