Re: Building a modern ZL-1

Thanks for all the helpful information. I haven't started to build this engine yet but I'm taking notes for when I do. I'm thinking the 496 stroker thing will probably be the way that I go. I was wondering what your thoughts where on intake carb combonations. I'd really like to make it look like something from Motion, Nickey or Dana under the hood and was thinking about putting a dual quad set up on it. I've got a lead on an aluminum rectangle port offy with two 600 holleys on it. Does anyone have any opinions on the offy intakes and there performance capabilities verses an edelbrock dual quad set up (I've only seen that edelbrock offers a dual qual with a similar appreance to the offy) or equal product? I really appreciate any of your thoughts or opinions. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ouguysrock.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif Jesse
