Always a hot topic among original restoration fans are the engine lift hooks. The color on this car; orange. There is no fluffing, painting or cleaning on this car. The T3 headlights were still in tact with the original Endura bumper. The smog system was all there in its unrestored fashion too. Like any unrestored car it has its bumps and bruises, but its totally complete. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...8/P1010003.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...8/P1010014.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...8/P1010018.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...8/P1010009.jpg |

Looks like we can still see reminents of the power booster tag on the hose fitting. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/drool.gif

Give me an original one over a restored one (blemishes and all) any day of the week... Grrrlrllrlrrl https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/drool.gif
The engine lifting hooks look to be silver the orange looks to be on the rear plug wire loom stands... The lifting hook on the rear is behind the plug wire stand on the pas side and the front one is on the driver's side and it looks to be silver as well... Dan can you confirm this? It has 2 piece kick panels... what is the build date on the car? I love the cowl overspray... burgundy and white for the white out stripes... |

Dan, I think in your excitement you were getting the two things mixed up since they both have large round holes in them https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/crazy.gif Wouldn't want to be pulling the motor using those wire loom stands though https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif |

I just picked up a 69 Rallye Sport https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gifZ28, hugger orange w/ white stripes, comfort weave interior, cowl hood, console, gauges, NUMBERS MATCHING, in my back yard. I bought it from the owner of Cox Racing Engines, who restored it himself. It run's like a big block & believe it or not, i drive it. The closest thing to 427 cubic inches i have ever driven. I love it! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif [/ QUOTE ] Relevance?? |
