That Compton '63 Nova SS, if I remember right, was running an Olds rear with coil springs and a six pot intake SB. I'm sure I don't have that mag but don't remember which I saw it in. Hmm... maybe it was a CarCraft flashback from years ago.

I think I also spot the "4-4-2 Much" 66 442 in the staging lanes just to the right and forward of that starlight coupe. If so, that car was from Minnesota, if I remember right, may give some hint as to where that pic was taken. If in fact this was Minnesota Dragways there are a LOT of rare and valuable cars there. The White Mustang if I recall was a 428 SCJ, there are a couple of Hemi Darts and Hemi Barracuda's there and several 396/375 Chevelles as well.
