Well, now it's too nice to put back on the car and actually have fuel going through it https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif Can't you just get a "driver" carb and have the resored one on display in your living room somewhere?

Bill,

That's EXACTLY what I emalied to Eric when he sent me the "after" pictures https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

I finally got the carb on the car and ready to go. I had to bypass the heater core for the time being...it decided to spring a leak in the interior on my first road test https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif

Eric is an awesome guy...he is the epitome of customer service https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Here's what it looks like installed on the car

Re: My Carb...before and after!

Eric just did a 4557 for me. What I got back was exactly what I expected and what I paid for. What really impressed me was how Eric dealt with a problem. Seems our illustrious shipper damaged the throttle linkage. Eric has spent countless time making sure everything is ok on my end offering to do whatever it takes to make it right. Furtunatley I think I can repair it on my own. At least he is not like most people that once they have collected the check, they have no after sales technique. Thanks for your professional service Eric! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Thanks once again for the kind words Rick, they are greatly appreciated.

I know you told me not to worry about it, but I still have a knot in my stomach about that bent linkage. Again, if need be I'll take care of it.

Food for thought: I should've known better than to entrust such valuable parcel to a company who's name sounded out phonically is "OOPS"! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...thumbsdown.gif

That being said...

Rick, Eric did the same for me. I had a small problem...and it was eating him up inside. We got it worked out in a hurry though. What a guy! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif
