Re: Tim G's Amazing 67 427/400 Corvette
Small world indeed...I knew Chris who was mentioned in the writew-up in the late 70's https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif He was always into Corvettes and I was running around in a dual quad 65 Riv and working the counter at the local auto parts storew...when auto parts stores were real.

I needed a carb-to-manifold gasket and went over to NAPA thinking that they may not carry Q-jet gaskets anymore. I looked around and lo and behold, there's that old familiar Mr. Gasket package with a new Q-jet gasket! $3.95 plus tax. It was like being a kid again seeing Mr. Gasket stuff hanging on the pegboard at the auto parts place. That made my day. As for this '67 Corvette, what a gorgeous car! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif x 100 |

Belair, thanks for featuring the car. What a treat to see it featured on this great site. I just returned from a long weekend of vintage racing at Road America and what a surprise.
