You're right. The LA Times ran the story on Sunday, March 18, 2001, page B3. I still have the article. It has 2 pictures of the car. One picture shows it coming into a corner at Sebring in 1964 and the other picture in it current (2001) condition looking a little battered and patched. I wonder what's really going on with it now? |

-------The history of this Daytona coupe includes many, many hours on the salt at speed. Having an aluminum body, and not being protected in any way did a lot of damage. The cost of the resto must be staggering..........Bill S
