Re: Loaded 69 rs/ss conv

Just visited the Team Camaro site and the most recent post is for a prompt "only a few hours to go on ebay auction" for this car. This is a classic example of what is wrong with this hobby! If someone wants to sell their car and get all the money, great that's the American way. But don't mislead people about your real intentions. In my opinion this guy should be banned from selling on this site, or just thrown out! We need to really try hard to improve the way things are done in our hobby, and I think it has to be one deal at a time. All of us have a responsibility to deal openly and honestly. This will be a benefit to everyone invoved and will ultimately help to increase the value of our cars.

REAL CARS-REAL PEOPLE!!

I agree - lets improve the hobby by not accusing other enthusiasts of being liars. I was nice enough to try to explain the chain of events that I am dealing with, and instead of possibly (correctly?) being accused of being overwhelmed, confused, and underinformed of my own circumstances, I am accused of being misleading and dishonest. Perhaps if I knew everything before it happened, I could be a better ambassador of the hobby!!

I call it the way I see it...if that ruffles a few feathers so be it....if I have judged unfairly then you have my regrets...the outcome of the situation will speak for itself. I have only one goal, open and fair communication among folks in the hobby.

Then we are all in agreement. I sincerely hope you find that car you want, too.

Wilma,
I don't see anything wrong here. Yes, it's a little bit of a tangled chain of events. But it looks like the car was accurately described and his real intentions ended up being to sell it. Hence the completed ebay auction.
Now, with a ebay name like psycokid, let's hope the buyer completes the deal. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif
