Re: The fun begins on the Y Nova
You don't need that can of rust buster, just get out the gas axe. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif I've had no experence with walnut shells. Mixed reviews on soda. More bad than good. I still like poly media the best. Jensen's fb deuce is at the blasters as we speak. Those frt fenders look rusty, and full of mud. I'll give you 50 bucks apiece. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gif Schonye

Re: The fun begins on the Y Nova
It may vary with the jobber who does it, but around here it's 1000.00 bucks to get it done. Then you have to wash the car after to neutralize, and remove the soda. I am a bit hesitant to get bare metal wet even if you blow dry it. With media, even though its bare metal, it won't rust if you don't touch it for quite a while. Media usually runs around 600.00. It's a personal preference, and much depends on the people doing the different applications. You can sandblast the bottom, and frt stub.

Re: The fun begins on the Y Nova
Hey Bob,
Is this the car I remember seeing pictures of, that was really straight, the guy had it hauled to a shop, and the shop let another car roll into the front end? I remember reading about that on this board, but I can't find the string... -Sam |
