About the 396 pacecar !
https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif Hans wanted me to point out that it was a 396-clone. Not a pacecar-clone. Itīs a real -69 pacecar with a correct datecoded 396 from a Chevelle. Anders |

Here is a photo of a -70 Boss 429.
If Hans remember it correctly, it was like this: There was a guy here in Sweden that gambled on horses, and won a large sum of money. He wanted to buy a Boss 429 so he contacted Ford in Sweden and asked them to sell him such a car. They said .... nope ! After that he contacted a relative or friend in the USA who bought the car for him and had it shipped to Sweden. This Boss 429 has around 20.000 miles on it, and has never been restored. The guy that owns it now also has a Boss 302, a couple of Shelbys, and some other Mustangs. |
