The driver's side quarter was rough, and definitely needed to be replaced, but I could've done that. So much for my dreams . . .

It even had Cragars on it!

We're not exactly known for cars here, but known for the rust that comes with 'em!

I'm pretty sure that we're also known for the most bars per square mile . . . https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

And don't forget the cheese curds! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/headbang.gif

I don't think the heritage of the car really affects me too much, I'm just looking for a musclecar in Wisconsin . . . preferrably a '69 Camaro for a "reasonable" price, hence my signature below. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif

WHY NOT JUST PUT SOME HORSEPOWER IN YOUR CAMARO, IT'S A SWEET LOOKING RIDE. SMALL BLOCK CHEVY PARTS ARE RELATIVELY CHEAP AND EASY TO INSTALL. IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET, BUYING AN OLD CAR THAT NEEDS RESTORATION DOES NOT MAKE MUCH SENSE WHEN YOU ALREADY HAVE SUCH A NICE CAR TO BUILD ON. THROW A COUPLE THOUSAND DOLLARS INTO A 350 AND YOU WILL HAVE A STRONG, GOOD-LOOKING CAR. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Easiest way is to advertise in your local "nickel ads". I have found parts this way that were a bit cheaper than Ebay but if your good at haggling, have cash in hand, or put it in a brown paper bag giving him a peek or two, the seller will relent if motivated. I have noticed that 1969 Camaro prices have moved up pretty fast after the Fast\Furious movie. I think it's everyones favorite year of Camaro. After my projects are gone my next project would be an AMC AMX. Cheaper 2 buy. 2 seats, far-out colors. Camaro parts and prices have gotton out of hand.

[/ QUOTE ]I'm with Mike on that one. Heck even 350 crate motors are getting relatively inexpensive. You've already got the cosmetic part done. Adding more power is the relatively simple part. (Although I'd hesitate dropping one dime into the 305.)
