I just got back from the store and found the Summer 2003 Issue of Camaro Performers.
It has what looks to be a Black,or Dk. Blue 4th generation SS on the cover with red hood & roof stripe while flying down the road.
Also features Charles Lumpkins Silver 02 Zl-1,with a picture of Helen Gibb signing it at VetteFest last November..Great Vintage photo of Grumpy launching off the line too!
And a Reprint of the 1968 427 Street Camaro built by Nickey/Bill Thomas,with photos and text..GOOD STUFF....

I really enjoyed the article on the Bill Thomas/Nickey Camaro. That thing was a beast! Anyone know if that particular car is still around? Dan

In the reprint of the 68 Nickey Camaro article there is a picture of Bill Casler bolting the Casler slicks on the car for a test run. Now that is customer service where the company owner comes out to the track to mount the tires.
