Re: 2002 ZL1 camaro
Now I hear that the GMMG Camaro ZL1 Super Car #60 puts out over 500 hp at the rear wheels and through the chambered exhuast

Re: 2002 ZL1 camaro
Anybody else find the chambered exhaust a little too loud? Virtually a homing signal for cops. I'm thinking about installing a true duel set-up on mine.

Re: 2002 ZL1 camaro
GRB,
Can you believe that your 69th post was questioning chambered exhaust ? I think that in itself is a little message to you that you need to keep the chambered exhaust. I have had a couple of people over the years think at first it was a little loud but to this day have not had anybody change it.Maybe give it a little time and it will grow on you ! Take Care. |
Re: 2002 ZL1 camaro
I'm not saying I don't like it. It's a cop magnet. Also, when we install the long tubes and C5R 427 next month I would think it's going to be even louder. One thing for sure: we will dyno it with and without the chambered exhaust.

Re: 2002 ZL1 camaro
I've got FLP long tubes on my phase 2 Berger going through FLP flanged bullets then through the chambers. With the straight off road pipe, I didn't like the sound at around 2200-2500rpm. With the straight throught mufflers the sound is awesome to say the least, I've gotten tons of compliments!

Re: 2002 ZL1 camaro
If anyone doesn't like their chambered exhaust, I'll buy it for a reasonable price. I'am looking to upgrade my Y2K SS system.

Re: 2002 ZL1 camaro
I'm going to keep all the original parts. Just want to quieten it down a tad.
