As everybody has seen on this sight and elsewhere, all of the above mentioned years command sizeable prices. IMO, it comes down ones preference of year. I would personally pay more for a 69 compared to a 67 or 68 of comparable quality. I do not think that you can place a value stature on these cars. A good analogy would be someone who would pay $100,000 for a stamp or a baseball card. It is all about what you are into. We will probably continue to see these cars, regardless of the year, out do each other on a case by case or a preference basis.

Regardless of production figures or price ..I think if you had to choose only 1 for your garage it would be the 69.Something about those stripes !!!!

I know of one 1969 Yenko that sold for well over $100,000.00 two years ago.

So based on the '67 vs '68 thing Supply and Demand which will comand more $$$$ a 67' or '68 Baldwin/Motion Camaro?

I think Clint has a valid point, peoples preference will play into it to some degree. I personally like the '68 Yenko Camaro's better than the '67's, especially an RS, and all things being equal, would pay similar '67 money to obtain the one I wanted. I don't really like the stripes, so the '67's and '68's really appeal to me. Just my .02- cents

The 68 Camaro is like the 56 Chevy. The middle child somehow never gets the respect it deserves.

Bill, to answer your question, I know of 14 documented cars for 68 that still exist. Twelve, possibly all, have been restored. Someone else may shed more light on it if the discussion ever comes back around to it ............RatPack..................

Thanks RatPack, thats the number I was looking for. When you say that there are 14 known to exist are you dealing with some sort of list or just your knowledge of specific cars? Are you counting my car, YS-8051? I'm trying to
find someone with a number close to mine that might have some paperwork they could share. Thanks

Bill, there are three 68's in the past feature car section of this site. The blue one is 8013 and is/was for sale, the Corvette Bronze one with AC is 8037 according to my notes. I have a red 8036 but not sure if that is the number of the red feature car as there are other red ones.
Each year Yenko Camaro has their own special features. The 67s were on average sold with more modifications done by Yenko or Dick Harrell. From what I can tell many of the 67s were sold with headers and scattershields and advertised as AHRA legal drag cars. My original receipt shows headers, scattershield, hood pins, traction bars, and SW tach and gauges. Yenko still had a crew building Stingers in 67 so he was already set up for doing the mods on the Camaros. The 68s were very unique since most were COPOs with 140 speedometers and other special parts. I don't know of any 68 Camaros found with 140 speedo other then Yenkos. The 69s were double COPOs with those highly visible stripes. The 69s have received most of the publicity due to their higher quantity. They are all great cars.
