Re: 68 yenko
This car was for sale years ago in a specialty car store in Pittsburgh. Was restored the wrong color and had 1969 drivetrain. Car was moved into Florida collection. I do not believe that any improvments were made on the car since I saw it...BKH

Re: 68 yenko
Why would anyone restore such a rare car the wrong color with a 69 drivetrain? Don't make sense! Brian, what is the correct color for this car?

Re: 68 yenko
Woops, I should have read the early postings for the right color!!!!!!!!!! getting senile!

Re: 68 yenko
Guys RM of Canada purchased the car and probably will be running it through their auction.(per sixtiesmuscle) You can call them to find out,I don't have the number.

Re: 68 yenko
Cool, RM's MI store is only 3 miles away. Hopefully it will show up there and we'll see what it looks like.

Earl, it's the same car, but it's # YS8014.
Here's a current pic of it. It's not quite a 69 drivetrain. It has a T0906CE block. (a backwards CE code? ) 67 trans with a 68 date and the VIN stamped on it. 4.10 BV0324 axle, can't read the cast date for the year, I think it's 68. |
