I was 10 days away from turning 6 years old and don't really remember much. However, my great grandparents lived in a 3 story town house in downtown DC and I remember us all watching the funeral procession on their B&W TV.

Its amazing the continuity of Kennedy tragedies, very sad to hear about Caroline's daughters terminal illness, very young, very sad. My Dad was Bobby Kennedy's Pilot during his campaign in 68, was walking through the kitchen of the facility when he was shot. called my Mom and said "Bobby was shot and killed, I'll be home tomorrow" My Dad was a man of few words..The Kennedys were always very nice, always sent birthday and holiday cards to me and my brothers. Whatever your political affiliation may be, they were admired by both sides
