Karen ordered a Panasonic and it was junk out of the box...wouldn't sit level and the door felt like it was going to fall off. She returned it and ordered a Toshiba...much better quality and the price was ok.

Check the fuse on the backside access panel. It’s such an extremely common malady that it’s simply known as “that damn microwave fuse”!
