I owned the car for several years. I flew up in 1999 to look at my 69 black RS/Z which I purchased and trailered home to LI, NY. I also looked at the 70 RS/Z and purchased a year later.
The original owner had it a short time (a few days) and traded it in at a Plymouth dealership and believe purchased a hemi Road Runner. The second owner saw it at the Plymouth dealership and purchased 5/70 and until I purchased 3/2001 I kept in contact with the person I sold the car to, and he would call me from time to time. Last we spoke he had someone interested and asked if the offer was good. I stated I'd pay more, and he never reached out. *No paperwork *Qtr paint/ repairs *Color combo for me was a negative. Still a very good car but, told he wants $100+ |
is this what a 70z driver brings money wise {100k}? i know it has its original equipment and all, but this car is not that nice. i do not know the camaro market so i am just asking. how much more are the big block ss cars bringing?

no, he's shooting for the moon. But the top bid of $82,000 is getting close so I'm sure he is encouraged .

If it's a legit bid....Better cars out there for less money.

Looks like a pretty nice original car. It is amazing what they go for these days. My dad had a 73 Z28 for a time in the 90's. 4 speed car, I just remember how well that car drove. I have a 68 Z28, does not drive anywhere as good as the 2nd gen cars do.
