Any one want to venture a guess what an early 67 MO block is worth?

Not in 1968 if one was delivered to Canada for sale. My '68 Norwood 'MO' car was KD1 smog exempt on the documentation from GM Canada..

Had forgotten about those. Edited my post to correct.

So the engine was still coded MO?

Did they just remove the smog tubes and plug the holes?

Or did they come with different exhaust manifolds?

Just curious.

When I got my Z2/8 it already had headers - but from the CRG site it states that the manifold holes had threaded in plugs.. and regular pcv setup on the ds valve cover.
And YES the engine in mine had the MO suffix.. 678 block, it was considered an early 1968 model build Z2/8 with December '67 year block casting and assembly date, with an original 266 'left over GM parts bin' distributor, which there were a few of.. as per JM's Definitive book..

Probably $3k, but it will sit for a while.

Unless someone has a 67 Z with a missing engine, there really isn't much market for it.

Now if someone had THE car this came in, then I am sure he or she would be glad to pony up $3k or more for it, assuming it is in decent condition with no cracks.

Though I'd throw this one in here. I'm still looking for this 67Z it was one of the first 25 and it was shipped to Rome Ga. and most likely been drag raced by Randy Payne before he joined the Ford team with Hubert Platt.

Low mile, do you still have this block? I am looking for a period correct engine for my February built 67 Z and I would be interested in yours.
