a salty car put away, a good rinse before storage would have been a great help.

Hope your friend doesn't mind you posting pics.

Very cool car. I passed on a hemi powered (at least I remember it as a Hemi, guess it COULD have been a 440) Superbird in 1976. May be the second dumbest thing I ever did.

Lynn , i passed on the grey 71 hemi cuda convertible for 275k that was in hemmings decades ago. But it would have been alot worse if I had actually bough it,them sold it. ... Lol

427 I did "sorta" the EXACT same thing. Mid to late '80's, say 88. Buddy and I were at the local Mopar show at "Dragway Park Cayuga" in Ontario Canada. A guy from Quebec was there with his Purple 426 Hemi 1970 Challenger RT convertible. Car was purple with white stripe, white top and interior, shaker hood. MINT shape. Me and my buddy thought he had rocks in his head asking $35,000.00 US for the car. Guys name was Rene Desetile (something like that).

IF WE ONLY KNEW!!!!!!!!!!!

I crushed a 1969 Z24 convertible 427 4 speed in 1978. Talk about who knew. I still have the title and motor. Dave.

Double LOL

I sold the yellow/white 71 hemicuda convertible for $54K about 35 years ago. (I bought it for $24K a year earlier after everyone else passed on it for being too expensive)

Is there a COL emogi? (Cry Out Loud)
