Yes. This would be one Great candidate for the Pure Stock Races. The 429 CJ is a torque monster that can be built to crazy HP numbers and take it , the C6 Auto Transmission great for high revs and consistent, unmissed shifts, and the Coupe body is the lightest of the 71 Mustangs to be had with CJ Power. This car also came with Hoodpins and Argent Hood Stripe. Both original twist lock lower brackets are still bolted to the radiator support.

Just to show you how ignorant I am on Fords, I never knew that any Ford came from the factory with a Qjet carb.

Yes, I have a friend who bought a 70 Torino Cobra brand new and it came with a Q-jet.
