I remember the Calgary trip well and I remember when we met. That was a wonderful trip.

Lloyd, you should get Al Grenning (CCAS) to authenticate the pad, he is the leading authority on Corvette engine pads .

Very wise move

Strongly believe that is a restamp. Need better photos to determine.

Thanks for all the input, I was fortunate that a member shared with me a good photo of same date stamping. I now have what I need for reference.

Yes they do. If I purchase the car I will post the GM Canada doc. As the document is not (yet) mine to post it will have to wait.

Al will only authenticate a cylinder case for the owner of the car. He does not conduct pre purchase inspections

Al isn't inexpensive either & you pay the same $$ if he says thumbs up or thumbs down. It's worth it if he says thumbs up though!

I believe I have the most extensive data in existence on 1967 Canadian delivered L71s and have 106112 in my files, including engine history, etc. It was delivered by Gorries Downtown Chev-Olds in Toronto.

That’s not exactly true. Yes Al is costly but he’s the expert. In terms of cost - he only keeps your money if he affirms the component. A service fee of $75 is assessed if a component is deemed OEM or not but the affirmation check is returned if non OEM is found.
