John Tinberg and Randy Schmitt, aka the Nickey Gasser Shop have built several cars for the owner. They had several of them on display at the MCACN Nickey Gasser display last November.

----I'll try to keep this short as there are a bunch of good memories wrapped up in the video of my old car. That was the 1st year we raced (1991) and had the 1st engine (around 650 HP). We were running low 11's, high 10's. The next winter I got Jimmy Reid to step up the program and we ended up with a 480 cube 775 HP power house. A few more suspension changes and suddenly I was running as low as 10.0's. But the weekend shown was wonderful as a bunch of my best buddies joined me. You can see Big Jake Dykstra early on and it was just a whole bunch of fun even if my reaction times did suck at that point!......Bill S

----I would be remis if I didn't say that I am really pleased that Red Alert has found a very good home!!!

Boy you are right - lots of great memories. That was a really fun spontaneous Wednesday night grudge racing at the Grove. At the 2:23 mark you can even see my lowly Chevelle lining up against Bill. I'm glad the video was forwarded to the new Owner. Mom converted it years ago and I sent it to Rob and then KP. Hard to believe that was 28 years ago...….
