The hardware holding the quarter trim is incorrect. The correct fastener is plastic and pushes into a pre-punched slot on a factory 11637 quarter. The correct fastener part number is 4403445. It appears a stud and stamped nut fastener are being used. The hardware for the emblem is incorrect also. If the quarter stampings are shown for the quarters they would read 11637 for this particular car. I like the car.

The replacement GM quarters just have a date code stamp I believe...

Possible drag car earlier in it's life where quarters were cut for tire clearance and/or tubs. I don't know why a 2000 mile car would need quarter replacement unless stored outside.

Not a lot of room on these cars for big tires. Makes sense to me.
