Re: 1970 Chevrolet Nova Yenko Deuce
Sooo - did the Deuce come with BBC motor mounts - so that the motor was shifted to complement the cross member?

Re: 1970 Chevrolet Nova Yenko Deuce
So the offset/misalignment doesn't make any difference? Something does not make sense ... phasing and mis-alignment of eng/trans/diff will cause vibration. Maybe the 12 bolt diff is not centered (offset?) the same as the 10 bolt? TAZ

FYI, all Pontiac V8s are the same dimensionally. No such thing as small block or big block in the Pontiac world. |
Re: 1970 Chevrolet Nova Yenko Deuce
Thanks Steve.
No, the Deuces def have SB engine frame mounts and the rear is unmodified. I/we honestly can't tell you why there isn't an issue with this combination. Reggie sold it at Barrett Jackson about 10+/- years ago to John Oehler from Chicago, I lost track of it when John sold it as it's bounced around with different collectors / dealers. |
Re: 1970 Chevrolet Nova Yenko Deuce
This car was owned by a guy from Buffalo Lake, MN back in the early 80s. Reggie bought this car and a white 69 Z/28 from another MN owner at the same time.
