I had a similar "situation" with a shipper many years ago. I bought a 1969 Hemi Charger Daytona in need of paint, out in California. The shipper decided he could fit one more small car into his enclosed rig if he jammed the nose cone of the Daytona into the front of his trailer. It crushed the Daytona's steel nose cone. The @#$^#^#$ tried to offer me $200 for the damage since the car was going to "need paint" anyway. </div></div> Hi Steve, Yeah he said he could have/should have had it fixed before he dropped it off to me in PA. for $700, funny my insurance wrote it up for just over 5K to fix it!!!. Actually I do, the painter in AZ. shot it with Matrix Brand. He said it's "factory pack Black" to match the Chrysler TX9 code. He did 4 coats base and 4 coats clear. When it was fixed here in NJ. they were able to blend it perfectly with that product. Ron |
