Very good idea to replace the valve springs, especially if you chose to hammer it a bit.

It is perfect just the way it is, that being a survivor.

I guess the question is, what do you have to gain by &quot;taking it apart&quot; verses keeping it 100% intact as per the factory? Not to cast judgement, but you consciously bought a real true survivor.....correct?

Here is something to ponder, if you <span style="text-decoration: underline">take apart a true survivor</span> without making any alterations, other than cleaning everything, is it still a &quot;true survivor&quot;?

At the end of the day, like I always say, it is your name on the title and not mine. Who am I to cast judgement. But if you were to ask me, well then.....
