Re: 1967 ss Chevelle original drivetrain
Out of necessity, the phrase "born with" has arisen in our hobby because the word "original" was being abused. Sadly, some people in the hobby can no longer take the word "original" as it was intended. Nice car, and I trust all the original components are the born-with components. Personally, I sure would like to have seen it back when it had its original... I mean, born-with paint! Got any past/historical photos of the car?
Good luck with the sale. |
Re: 1967 ss Chevelle original drivetrain
Thanks for the replies. The engine is a 325 hp engine and the only component not original to the engine is the carb it had a replacement Holley spread bore on it when I bought it. The carb on it know is a quadrajet but it is off a 68 big block. It also does not have its original rims it had aluminum slots on it when i bought it.
Here is a couple of pictures when it was original paint the drivers front fender was repainted some where along the line. The car did have the double pinstripe at one time you could see the outline where it was removed. The paint doesnt look bad in the pictures but it had surface rust under the paint. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...6-dsc05221.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...7-dsc05224.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...8-dsc05225.jpg |
