If Stefano was driving, the top speed would have been 10-15 MPH faster. This standing mile is held at over 7,000 ft above sea level, so I know that hurt performance a bit.

I love this car. I've dragged raced it, auto-cross, road raced, open road raced, and standing speed tests. Its a strong competitor in all of them. Heck, its even won car shows because they are expecting just another Camaro, but once they see and hear it, they are blown away. The entire Nickey crew build awesome cars and I don't know what my 3rd Nickey car will be, but I am pretty sure it will be badass.

Below is a link to a video of the Silver State Classic Challenge parade led by Ken Johnson from K&N Filters driving his Lamborghini Adventador. We come in at about 7:35. Also attached is the Nickey Camaro pre-staged against its competition, starting with a Nissan GTR up front, followed by another Lambo Adventador and then a Ferrari.

NicKey ZL1 #001 takes a second place finish in the standing mile at the 2015 Silver State.

Congrats to Tony "Wildman" Drost.

With safety equipment and driver this is a 4,600lbs missile.

AND how "streetable" is that compared to the Nickey? I knew a young fighter "stick actuator" who bought a Viper -- after awhile he said it was like a lady of commerce ... fine once in awhile, but you didn't want to live with it!

I can't speak to the details of that particular cat. I can say that we have built Camaros with over 1,000 hp which are very drivable.

The NicKey Stage II ZL1 option is very drivable, although we did build a bit of attitude back into it.

Tony's car is very versital, It runs on pump gas. He took it to the drag strip that weekend, added the NicKey track-pac ( wheels and slicks) and nocked off some 10 sec altitude ajusted ETs.
