There was no 3 speed on the floor available in any 66/67 Chevy II or Acadian. The L79 had either the no extra cost 3 speed manual on the column or the optional 4 speed on the floor. The Super Sport 3 speed manual cars got the bucket seats, but no console, mainly because there was never a cover plate designed to cover the floor shifter hole. Same for the Acadian Sport Deluxe. Probably the only L79 Invader 2 door sedan in existence, but it was a tough sell. I'm sure if it had been a 4 speed it would have sold much more quickly. Bob |
