Re: 1967 Camaro with j52 option
L30/M20's and the 69 LM1's are cool..... Maybe not worth that much more, but I like em'.

Re: 1967 Camaro with j52 option
Well since I consider my 65 a muscle car and the Z16 never came with a posi, the I guess I don't require one in my criteria though certainly prefer them. As for gearing, i guess it doesn't matter either since it is so application specific. I love my 88's and probably don't appreciate cars with 2 and 3 series gears as much as I should. A Caprice with a 4.10 open or posi would be cool but clearly less popular. Heck- I really seem to be focused on 65-69 cars so anything 1970 and up I just don't have nearly as much exposure to. Good questions Donnie. I had to think about it for a bit- especially the posi one.

Here is pictures of under hood along with trunk shot. I have traced this car down to the original owner who sold car to second owner in Highland NC, then car was sold to third owner in 1984 and then to me in 1988. I have all original manuals, protecto plate, and manuals along with window sticker for car. Car was all original paint untouched when third owner bought car and was repainted in the 80's back in laquir and detailed under hood. Car has had only about 1200 miles put on it since 1994. Car won best Camaro in 1995 super chevy gainsville fl have trophys and magazine from april 1996 edition.

Great looking car!

Re: 1967 Camaro with j52 option
That is a really cool car. I never knew that MANUAL disc brakes were available?? Was this '67-only?
|
Re: 1967 Camaro with j52 option
Yes, that was '67 only. This car does not have the correct master cylinder but is still a very neat car.

Re: 1967 Camaro with j52 option
Very cool and desirable Camaro. I've had a few of these over the years, just never considered them a muscle car.
I had a '67 Impala SS Convertible, 4 speed, with power disk brakes and the 327/275 HP engine. Fun car to cruise around, but I never really considered that a muscle car either? It's amazing how many people with 327 Camaros insist that they have a real SS car, because of the 4P code on the tag. Very nice Camaro! |
