I was about 12 years shy of being a gleam in daddys eye.... My mother told me all about that day when I was young. This country could use another man like him .... I do remember when junior died though ... just another victim of the Kennedy curse

I was in 5th grade at Alamo Elementary School in Vacaville CA. The teacher told us just after recess. She had heard about it in the teachers lounge during our recess. We went home @ noon that day.

I was in Grade 3 at Reid Lake school. I remember the day like it was yesterday. Our teacher told us at about mid-day.

I was in 7th grade geography class with Mr. Stahlecker. We returned after lunch and he told us the sad news. After school, our family watched it all on b & w television. One of my classmates called him two days ago and like all of us, he remembered that day well.

Just turned 18 and a 1st semester student at Okla State Tech enrolled in auto mechanics class.
