Re: 1965 L79 Chevelle
Hey Bergy,
I was at Carlisle too. Didn't realize that was your Yenko. Would have liked to have met you. I had my 68 Nova SS survivor there in the HPOF class. Just tried to send a PM but it looks like your box is full. BTW beautiful Yenko! Dave |
Re: 1965 L79 Chevelle
Thanks Dave. A bunch of us will have to make sure that we meet up at Fall Hershey AACA (if not before). That '65 Chevelle was just a really cool ride. Turns out that the owner doesn't want to sell it very bad. They built over 6,000 L79 Chevelles in '65 - not rare or particularly fast, but I liked the look and colors on that one.

Re: 1965 L79 Chevelle
To be honest I dissagree with that statement. L79 chevelles are rare in my book no matter how you look at it and when you think they made like 50,000 SS chevelles. Nice 65 SS malibus are bringing 25k all day long with the nothing motor in them when they are as nice as the car you looked at. I think your missing the boat on this one. Just my opinion.
