Jason </div></div>Buick Daily car reports say that 1 1970 stage 1 convertible was a 3 speed. Although, a second one has now been documented. The original owner probabaly wanted to tow his/her boat [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img] Or save the $58 bucks !

Many of us are convinced that Dan has the first L-88 Motion Nova that Joel built. Orig Sequoia Green and repainted Black by Batt Auto Body and still shows evidence of Phase III stripes &amp; Motion tow tabs.

He has a letter from Joel stating that it could be one of his Nova's, but since Joel lacks actual invoice documentation Dan has tracked down past owners and co workers at Motion who have verbally confirmed the performance &amp; body work done to the car.

I also think it had sidepipes &amp; a shifter that was made especially for this car.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but like I mentioned, there are many of us that believe that it's Fredy Calas's old street racer.

BTW, As you say, each to their own opinion, and some of us do not put much credence in what Dan says.

i have always found dan meticulously true to his word.
