"So yes boyos, I've finally secured me a set and I'll get to work on making a limited quantity available to those who really want them."

Man, I just threw away a set of Hooker Headers with sidepipes off my 74 z/28. There were some rust holes in the side pipes at the mounts, but I am sure they could have been easily fixed. The headers were chrome along with the side pipes. I was going to give them to Darren as a joke.

Car Guy Rule #1 - Never throw anything away, there is always someone who will buy it...especially if it is no longer produced or vintage!

Re: 70-81 Camaro Hooker Side Pipes

that is sooooooo true. but the guy that wants to reproduce these pipes over at nastyz28 says he got them from a guy with a 74z that he recently acquired. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif seems i saw pics of a 74z in this thread https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

I would have never thought in a Million years that anyone would want them. I guess I thought the same about my orig XT wheels that I tossed back in 1982. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/blush.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/blush.gif

i know what you mean jonesy. i had a pair of old aluminum valve covers that said pro stock in the center and a pair of appliance and fenton super shark wheels.i put them out for spring clean up 3 yrs ago and watched two guys fist fight for them. i never would have thought anyone would want them as they were all pitted. but the guy that ended up with them had the wheels rechromed and cleaned up the valve covers. good for him https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif

No biggie, just wondering.. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif I might not have cause my memory is shot. Like this morning, I thought it was spring until I looked out the window. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif
