Mercedes Oldtimer in good Condition are very sought after here...

Thatīs the same like with your Oldtimer in the U.S.. For a Mercedes Oldtimer you become 99% of all Parts here... not cheap, but good!

Greetz, thanks for the link. That one has a nice lighter blue paint job on it which looks good. Maybe someone over there will buy it? I have it priced right.

Het Greetz, I found in the original owners manual, the original owners name and stuff including phone number is printed in it. Can you do a search and see if he/she exist? How close are you to where they used to live, perhaps still there?

Dransfeld Germany is about 400 Km or 250 miles north of Magstadt (Jochen's home).

Route from Magstadt to Dransfeld.

There is a Martin Rutschmann in Dransfeld on Heinrich-Sohnrey-Strasse 55 with a telephone number of 05502 30 06 24. This is very close to the other address listed in the posting above. Probably related if not the same person.

Wow, that's pretty close considering.

I am thinking about keeping the '76 350 SLC. I have been having too much fun driving around in it and tinkering with it. Been fixing a few things but man it sure is a great ride! Having only paid $2,500 bucks for it I can afford to fix it up nice and not go upside down on it. The only major is new interior seat covers for the front and back, and a quality paint job.

Yes he did https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/headbang.gif

Adress and Phonenumber who has Sam posted are absolutely correct https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

The Man in the Paperwork was the 1st Owner of the Car. Later the Son was getting the Car. And it was only a Summertime Car in a Doctorīs Family... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/laugh.gif

The Car was sold on a Car-Dealer in Goettingen with only 60000 KM on it https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/shocked.gif

The pre Owner was very confused about my Call, but later he was really happy to know that his Car was living and driving in Idaho https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif

He ask me if you have renew the front Fenders... they was very rusty in the joints (an old Mercedes-Benz Problem)... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif

But no Paperwork existing https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif

Greetz,

That's great! I did not think that he would still be there after all these years. I will check the front fenders and see how they look. I will check the manual that contains his name and information and see what the date was at 60,000 km's.

I wonder if he may be interested in getting his old car back? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/headbang.gif
