Re: Winter Project, '67 Malibu
I got a "little" done on the '67 today, but not much. I'm waiting for ONE stupid headliner bow clip so I can install the headliner. The idiots that sent the weatherstrip order sent '72 Chevelle stuff, not '67 Chevelle stuff! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gif An argument has ensued. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...thumbsdown.gif
So this '67 will probably be a spring, summer, fall, and winter 2010 project the way things are going right now. But in the mean time, we did have a small, mini-car show today. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/P3210001.jpg The orange '69 Chevelle and silver '69 Cutlass have been seen before in earlier posts. The '70 is Jay's car, and the ZO6 belongs to a friend named Wayne. Jay and Wayne brought their cars out to blow out the cob webs and clean them up for another cruising season. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/P3210002.jpg Looking good Jay http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/P3210003.jpg This needs engine work. It will probably be a few months until this one is cruising. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/P3210004.jpg Two Chevelles http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/P3210005.jpg Under Wayne's hood. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/drool.gif Things are looking up, it was actually partly sunny today and almost reached 50*! |

Re: Winter Project, '67 Malibu
I sure like that Maggie'ed Z06 and would love to do the same to my yellow one, but mine seems to get me in enough trouble the way it is. A ticket-getting machine they are.

Love the '70. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif [/ QUOTE ] We need to "encourage" Jay (original70, or something like that) to post up more pics of his '70! He keeps telling me he'll call me to help him post and link his pics, but the only people that call me are telemarketers. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif My encouragement isn't enough. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif |

Re: Winter Project, '67 Malibu
OK..OK..What night you free this week Rick to show me this posting process? I have followed the tutorial that was posted on another thread but seem to be doing something wrong. Will also put together a little history of car and send that.

Re: Winter Project, '67 Malibu
I painted the core support on the '67 today, not worth taking pics of it though.
Still waiting on lots of parts. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/307002-1.jpg Since it's raining today, all of the old stuff was inside. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/307003-1.jpg In for an idler arm. Finding one that fits has been a challenge, so I'm told. http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/307004-1.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/307005-1.jpg http://i296.photobucket.com/albums/m...t/307006-1.jpg This one is in for a fuel pump to carb fuel line. Tried my hand at winging one with a hand held tube bender, I failed. |
