Does anybody know much about this '69 RS/Z? Its going across the block at BJ 2010 Scottsdale after two other Z's, number 441.3, I think. I like oddball combos. I was sad when the burnished brown/green deluxe car shown earlier in this thread got restored with a black interior. But I'm not sure the weird/cool factor could let me keep this thing HUGGER ORANGE/GREEN STD.

Re: Tell me about rare color combos!
Hello ... I noticed you had a posting about the white Z with the orange Interior at your shop ... I bought the car last week and am wondering if I could talk to you about your opinion on the car ... I talked to Joe Demesy who took it to your shop but he couldnt give me too much info ... Im trying to trace the cars origin and Im hoping your input could help me ... Heres a link to the car as it sits today ... I appreciate your help ... Joe

Re: Tell me about rare color combos!
Regarding the red on red convertible...
My dad's '70 Convertible was born a Cranberry Red / Red interior Malibu 350, Disc Brake car. Now it's an SS "tribute" car, (clone has such a negative sound). Black on Red w/ a 396. Yes, I know... people frown on fake SS cars, but this one will never be passed off as "real", and it wouldn't pass for "real" anyway. |

Keep in mind that's the saddle interior offering not red. |
Re: Tell me about rare color combos!
I have a black exterior/ custom deluxe parchment interior, 67 rs/ss camaro convertible. I also owned a butternut yellow matched with a turquoise interior. Good times back in the 60s!

Re: Tell me about rare color combos!
My 1968 Camaro is Palomino Ivory exterior and gold interior. It is my understanding that .6% of Camaros built in 1968 were Palomino Ivory. I have never seen another Camaro in this color.
