Reunion at the reunion. Bob Mcclurg, who photographed many of the cars featured in Super Stock and Drag Illustrated, including the '69 Yenko Camaro and Chevelle, will be re-united with Ed Hedrick, who was the driver of the Yenko Camaro featured in the July, 1969 issue of SS&DI. Even though Ed's Daytona Yellow Yenko Camaro is yet to be found, he is going to make a couple of passes in a similar Camaro.

Is Bill Porterfield scheduled to appear with his #1 69 ZL-1? I remember last year He & Ken Barnhardt were trying to race eachother.A feat which they said has never been done before,due to timing conflicts.So when they both showed up,& then it rained,(only one lane open),& then Ken had I think a bent pushrod?,we were somewhat disappointed. |
