The boys at Fisher Body Plant had a field day when building this highly optioned 67 body. The firewall marking were easily found everywhere. It made the duplication easier during reapplication. Such a great car and learning tool for other 67 cars
|
As ultra rare as this car is and all of the documented options ...I am very thankful that we did not need an enormous amount of parts and had to locate or solicit them. Thank you John Weaver
|
Very true. This car has great bones. Every component is in great condition and almost everything for the car is there. Its a restoration of a complete and original car in great condition.
|
What an amazing 67 Yenko ! Hearing about this Camaro over 20 years ago and finally seeing it come to life has been such a pleasure. How many Yenkos have all there original drivetrain, sheet metal and had such a great caretaker like John. Not many I can bet. Thank you John. Can't wait to see this car in person. Keep up the good work Frank and the crew at Arone Restoration's.

More pics
I am sure that others here on the forum like myself would love to see more pictures and hear more stories of this cool and odd Yenko. Or are you saving the best till last? I know this is your busy time of year but please post more pictures for us dreamers that will never have the opportunity to do what you are doing.
Thanks in advance and we appreciate all you do for the supercar hobby. Grudge race at the SCR. Your copo and my cobra, but you need to spot me a couple 10ths with all that Mcgaffee horsepower and the new trans. |

Love the look of 67 camaros with optional RPO Z23 interior group. The anodized headliner side trim with the red headliner and the chrome pillar post moulding are going to look sharp
|
The original ones were very nice to start with.

I would like to thank Tom Scholtz of Minnesota... some people know him as a superb paint and body guy... he has been very helpful and I wanted to say thanks for him locating us an original Firestone G70 15” tire ...We wanted to keep the car as close to perfect as possible and by doing so we wanted to secure just a few original tires thank you Tom
