Ever since Photobucket held us for ransom I have not posted shop renovations. Except for some front cladding we are 90% complete on the outside and 98% on the inside.
Lloyd and I have actually done some car restoration work in the past few months to take a break from "two soft office types attempt building overhaul" I will go back to last January and give a overview what we accomplished Finishing wet room and bathroom with shower, http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...psry0mjccp.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...psu69zzidd.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...psg6ovcf3e.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...psy7w9dewz.jpg [URL=http://s285.photobucket.com/user/paulolds/media/IMG_4301_zps382itcvl.jpg.html]http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps382itcvl.jpg[/URL http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps3nstt87t.jpg |
This was our first tile floor, we hired a guy who knew a guy. Bad move!
http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...psvwsdbkm6.jpg We borrowed a jack hammer and tore up first floor. http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...psu2cbiclz.jpg We bought new tiles. http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...psrmq9cy3z.jpg We went back to one of the pros, who had given us a higher quote(head down, cap in hand, walk of shame) Good guy Danny, felt our pain, had us promise it would never happen again, and put down our new floor. http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...psqrvkw1bq.jpg I had to check to see if base was level, it was, Danny was insulted, he confiscated my level. http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps8tdtbmi2.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...psvanuvs8u.jpg Green tape is Danny's reminder to not walk on his perfectly laid floor, and call him first for future tile jobs. |
Once wetroom/bathroom was completed, we installed our fridge, lockers and sink.

Waiting at the airport for a further delayed flight. Soooooo post some more.
Borrowing an idea from Sam, I built a heat dispenser before air entered the shop. http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...psdpwuidga.jpg We had to move the air 40 feet to the front of the shop, and 20 feet +- to either side, total copper pipe for air was over 200 feet. Regulators were placed at every imaginable location with spares for future consideration, dedicated ones were put in for parts washer agitator and potential air jacks for hoists. http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps0dmnbkm8.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...pshjnweypy.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps9rjymg5f.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...psbhgjjnkn.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps5szv00go.jpg We had air hoses to reels custom made locallly. http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...pslrk9vp9r.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps6tse4lt3.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps1r5uttk3.jpg And we used proper standoffs for secure and vibration fee pipes. http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...pszigsjgxr.jpg |
