There are two "themes" that seem to go with auto ads created in the 1960s and early 1970s for "sporty" cars:" small airplanes and scuba diving. I could post lots of PR photos with them. I don't think there is any relationship between them other than what the ad agency is trying to have to photo say to a potential buyer.

The hood emblem in the pic above got me thinking 69/70 Acadian so I looked closer.
Can't 'member ever seeing a Dealer Emblem mounted on a hood before?
