Great meeting you Jim! Car looked fantastic!

Thanks to all the members who stopped to see the car at MCACN. I enjoyed meeting all of you and appreciate your kind words!
I am happy to report that the car scored 99.8% on Legends judging and 1000/1000 on Concourse judging. We also received an Emerald Award for Outstanding First Time Shown. Besides being a great weekend overall, I had the pleasure of meeting a good friend of the car's second owner, Peter Janda. Earlier in the thread, I had posted a photo of a blond haired gentleman standing next to the car at what appeared to be a car show. Previously, I assumed this was either the first or second owner, but I was not sure which. This weekend, I learned from Mike S. that this is in fact Peter Janda. Turns out, around 1992, Mike S. took the photo I posted earlier as well as the other photos I will be posting later today. Mike S. also confirmed the car's originality and low mileage during Peter's ownership between 1985 and 2011. This is a good example of why it's so much fun to go to MCACN and other shows! I'm still in the process of compiling a list (it's long) of those I want to thank and acknowledge for their help getting the car over the finish line. Jim |

These are the photos that Mike S. took around 1992, including the one that I posted earlier of Peter Janda standing next to the car. He recalls that the photos were taken at the second or third annual Camaro Nationals in Canada. He remembers taking more photos in Florida after Peter imported the car in August of 1993. If he finds these later photos and shares them with me I will post them in the future.

Along with this final pic I took at MCACN on Sunday night as we loaded the car before heading back to Denver, I want to thank everyone who read and responded to my thread, and give special thanks and acknowledgement to the many who helped me bring the car back to its former glory and achieve a result beyond my expectations.
