I had a 77 Z28 4spd car, was a very fun car to throw around. Not a lot of power, but handled great. I eventually put a Ed Pink built smallblock in it and it became really fun, lol

If the bars on the car now are from Nickey originally and sold by Don - I think I'd try and clean up and re-use them. From a "historically cool" perspective they belong on the car..............JMHO

Most people who grew up with these cars and appreciate the raw power these engines have are in there 80’s and 90’s. Younger generation doesn’t appreciate the primitive speed.

78, or 70 TA, Not even sure what to call it

A bud saw this and sent me pics, C4 Firebird? it’s a Mi car all I know, looks like a 78, w/ 70-73 glass nose , done very well. I’d like to drive it and see how it handles.

DO NOT put compressed air in the cylinder with the piston at TDC. If it's slightly off it's going to go to BDC VERY QUICKLY. Always have the piston at BDC when using compressed air in the cylinder....
