Yes, from what I was told original owner put 2 auxiliary tanks on left and right in 73 or 74 during the gas crisis. from what I remember (I was 7 or 8) you could only get gas certain days of the week...

selling my truck its a fully loaded 2018 GMC SLT Z71 with the 5.3 and 8 speed trans. has a little over 29,000 miles. I bought it new its rust free and well taken care of. $41,000 takes it home.
