That bracket fastened to the thermostat housing...

That bracket fastened to the thermostat housing is for the fuel filter on the early 1967.
Later in the year they went with different fuel line from pump to carb that did not need that bracket.

Most collectors of cars from the 60’s tend to have various signs in their shops for added ambience.
I was told this sign was in the attic of a closed Pontiac Dealer.

This 1960 Bel Air was a daily driver until recently.
A woman drove this car everyday to her work at a hospital here in Fremont Ca.
She would take it for service at this restored gas station down...
