I needed to heat it up a bit with a hair dryer...

I needed to heat it up a bit with a hair dryer and then use the hair dryer again to flatten it back out on the re-install on the other side. Was happy I was able to re-use it.

Small detail but I think the fasteners on the upper ball joints are reversed - the riveted looking part goes in from the top of the ball joint and the retaining nuts on the bottom...

Mark - that electric fuel pump was not a part of the car's original or even Day 2 history. It was added when (or after) the car was restored in the early 2000's and converted to an SS.
