The results were fantastic and this N11 system is on my 1967...

Tim, that exhaust system will be perfect for that car. The only thing needed to make it look assembly line would be to remove the part #s from the mufflers but I am sure you know that. Great car.

I would try successive fine grades of wet dry...

I would try successive fine grades of wet dry sand paper on a block to attempt to smooth the gouges however I think you can not remove enough material to eliminate them.
